Inside Sources Say Ducks’ Chip Kelly to Leave Oregon

Inside sources on the field with the Ducks in Arizona Thursday night have told Lane Today that Oregon football coach Chip Kelly has announced he is leaving the team.

In Facebook status updates posted during the Fiesta Bowl, sources say Kelly announced to the team just prior to kick-off that this will be his last game with Oregon.

Lane Today has not been able to confirm this information at this time, but will provide updates as soon as news becomes available.

Kelly has most recently been courted by professional NFL teams like Cleveland Browns and Buffalo Bills. Tomorrow, Jan. 4, Kelly is scheduled to meet with both teams for interviews.

Kelly’s four-year 45-7 record has been attributed to his “genius” offensive coaching.
